15. She's looking ahead

Pretty savvy move politically. I have a feeling she wants a go at Schumer’s (or Gilibrand’s) seat when they decide to retire. Schumer is most likely, given his age. She’ll likely be going against AOC and maybe Jeffries at that point in the primary. This helps with the base.

And I don’t think she cares for Cuomo one bit.
