The person filling in for Chris Jansing is covering the Kirk shooting from an entirely RW perspective. She ran many clips of RWers threatening retribution and screaming and yelling, including a particularly unhinged Steven Miller. Then she said, "there is also vitriol coming from the left."
No examples of this "vitriol coming from the left" of course. Just like there were no examples of "celebrating" Kirk's murder.
CNN is actually much more balanced this morning.

(38,109 posts)A Margaret Rutherford portrayal?
Codifer
(1,213 posts)It was Rutherford but I did not note the title as I jumped into it after the beginning. It had to do with a someone being scared to death by a cat.

(12,189 posts)The only ones left for me on that network is Ali Velshi, Lawrence O'Donnell, Nicole Wallace, Rachel Maddow & maybe Chris Hayes.
And sometimes I shut all then off and stream PBS and BritBox series. You're a peach for sharing all the links. Thanks!

(11,851 posts)Given that the guy was a right-wing podcaster, the reactions of right wingers is part of the story. The broadcast had plenty of even-handed analysis as well. Nothing to see here.

(23,204 posts)I never heard of CK before he was killed. And now that I have, I don't feel like I have missed anything. No vitriol. It sounds like Trump wants to use the media to stir up conflict. What an asshole.

(397 posts)My time was spent looking into what
happened to the Engineers at the Hyundai Plant.
These Engineers were Held Captive by ICE
from 9-4-25 until their flight home on 9-14-25.
The Korean Presidential Chief of Staff Apologized
that he could not get them home quicker.

(1,439 posts)I'm running out of people to watch. All I have left is Nicky.
I did like the group on the weekend, with Menendez, Steele and Sanders-Townsend but now they're on at night when we're watching something else. I guess I'm back to recording. Running out of anchors here.
Stopped recording Joe and Mica when they bent the knee, never went back.
These people who caved so fast need to remember Ned Stark from Game of Thrones.
Just a thought.
