Both Siders keep going back to 2017

to prove that there is violence at the hands of left-wing activists. They're citing when James Hodkinson shot four people at a Congressional Baseball Game. What they aren't figuring into the equation is the frequency of events for "both sides." If they did, they would realize there is a much bigger problem on the right, and God forbid they get too critical of our revered right wing.

Meanwhile, magas will try to count civil unrest around issues like police brutality as political violence. It is not. Certainly not in the same way. No one burning the businesses in their communities are doing it in the name of or in association with any political figure. But don't try to explain that to a maga.

Honestly discussing the violent proclivities is not within the Overton Window only because of the fear within mainstream institutions of which MSNBC is a part.
