Vice President JD Vance said that he is “desperate” for national unity after Charlie Kirk’s killing but that finding common ground with people who celebrated the assassination of his friend is impossible, the AP reports.

Said Vance: “I want it so badly that I will tell you a difficult truth. We can only have it with people who acknowledge that political violence is unacceptable.”

If national unity is impossible, then that means we are only left with conflict. And he must know that leads him to that same terrible conclusion of North vs South and he seems to relish it. Not a single Democratic official that I can find reacted to Kirk's death with anything other than strong condemnation of political violence. Meanwhile dozens, if not hundreds, of Republicans have reacted by calling for civil war, calling Democrats the "death party" and the like with Trump leading the charge.

Today, Vance himself said 'left-wing extremism' helped lead to Charlie Kirk's killing. Hey Vance, how about you quit being a hypocritical asshole? As someone pointed out, I can think of only 2 major politicians who ever directly said Trump was as bad as Hitler - JD Vance & RFK, JR.
