Tyler Robinson was neither "far-left" or "far-right"?

I watched a YouTube from Bluesky about Charlie Kirk's killer and some guy named Max Kuhn was very knowledgeable about Nick Fuentes and the Groyper movement and their origins on the Internet and their philosophy on politics.

Basically, he said that Fuentes started the movement because of his admiration for Donald Trump but that they really stood for nothing. Everything was a joke, a meme. They were serious about nothing. Their only goal was to hate and to disrupt the status quo. Fuentes was gay but he hated gays. They were "post-irony".

Also, he said that Fuentes hated Charlie Kirk more than anyone and would always send "questioners" to his events to disrupt. They would stand in line together with their questions, just to disrupt and annoy Kirk.

Furthermore, Kuhn said that there was no motive and it is a waste of time looking for one. It was an opportunity killing. Kirk was there. Robinson was there. Robinson had a gun and knew how to use it. And he killed Kirk. It was not in the name of the left or the right.

It was an interesting take on the darkest corners of the Internet.

He was oriented in the right-wing philosophy but was drawn to the Groyper movement when he was about 15-16 years old and that it was very much like a cult.

But that it was a separate movement from any far left or far right philosophies.

It was like everything was a joke to them. Nothing was serious. They had "unwritten" rules. They did not need any type of manifesto.

It seemed that Robinson wanted to kill Charlie Kirk to impress his friends.

So it seems like he fell into the dark corner of the internet for the disaffected. The only problem I have with this assessment is that the claim is that they don't care about anything, but they always push far right philosophy. There's definitely nothing leftist at all about any of it, its all very alt-right, and the alt-right exists in spaces where 'otherism' is a big deal, especially among young men. That's why these groypers are so into femboys. They existed in the same spaces together, particularly in places like 4chan, and eventually they kind of merged together into some kind of horrible self-loathing joke/meme culture. Tyler is going to be a hero to them not because he killed Charlie Kirk, but because of all the chaos its causing.
They are far right, but they're also anarchists, which is an odd combination.

I took the left and right labels to mean that he did not fit into any political niche that we are familiar with and that description was only meant to draw a contrast with the shooter's beliefs.

And this tracks with that. It was just a lethal way to pwn and one-up a whole community who were frenemies with his community. A big part of the Trumper cult is men, young and old, who think this is just a game and the consequences aren't real or meaningful. They're brains are stuck at 13-16 years old. The adults all seem to be people who peaked in high school or those who want to exact revenge for the slights they perceive they were subjected to then.

He also said that Fuentes did not have a large following, not millions as some would expect. But maybe only 200-300K people, mostly young men. They relished keeping women down and would mock their glass ceiling.

But, he said that many politicians were fearful of their movement because they would show up at their campaign events and mock and disrupt whatever was going on. They were powerful in that respect.

Robinson to me comes off like a kid on the spectrum whose book smart but gullible on topics in the adult world and society.

People tried to make Luigi Mangione out to be some flaming leftist but if you look at his Twitter account he hated identity politics and DEI.

The Annunciation Catholic shooting was much more right-wing violence than Luigi or Robinson, but people want to make it left-wing violence because the shooter hated religion and was trans.
