I don't know about everyone else, but the news of Robert Redford just gut punched me this morning. Just one more thing to add to a world in turmoil and despair.
All the Charlie Kirk stuff, the Black student found hanged, Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, America!!! So much more that we could all list here. So much loss. So much sadness. So much of a threat of what's to come.
Just for today, please, drop your sadness in this thread. Lighten your load a small bit by letting it out. Let it go. Just for a moment, at least. Take a breath. We all need it.
Ginormous hugs to everyone here. You remind me that there are people like me left in the world, and that I'm not alone. We are indeed good people. I want us all to know that we are not alone in this. Regardless of how bad it is or how bad it gets, we are not alone.

I look every morning for some bit of good news--locally, domestically, even worldwide. And after the lynching (I suspect) death of that poor black man, the horrific lies perpetuated by Vance and others to stir violence against the Left and Dems in general, all the economic bad news, then there was the news of Robert Redford.
and for me at least, I like to think Butch and Sundance are back together again.
