The analysis of the piece is correct. People like Тяцмp and Miller feed on hate, and have learned well how to use it to divide and weaken democracy.
But it’s really hard not to despise everything about them, and consequently the electorate that gave them the power they are now abusing. Hate is not a productive emotion, but once it’s rooted in our brain most people can’t seem to call up another to take its place.
