New Poll: Trump Minus 18

In the poll released on Tuesday, Trump's approval rating shows 39 percent, with a disapproval rating of 57 percent.

The poll was taken from September 12 to September 15 among 1,567 U.S. adult citizens, with a 3.6 percent margin of error.

"The 39% of Americans who approve of Trump is the lowest share to do so in any weekly Economist / YouGov Poll in Trump's second term," YouGov's Public Relations Lead Allen Houston told Newsweek via email in part.

"The 57% who disapprove is the most to do so in Trump's second term," Houston added.

Notably, this is the pollster's first survey gauging the public on Trump's job approval since the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Should be interesting. Will one of those online betting apps offer options for wagers on how low Trump’s numbers will sink?

that's all they care about. If you can't be bothered to stop funding the people that want to kill you then I guess it wasn't that important in the first place.

39% is close enough to fool/scare another 10% and obstruct enough where needed. Also to rig swing states enough to win ev. 39% is way too high. And 100% shameful.

You ask what's wrong with them. They hate minorities, immigrants, and women's autonomy so much, they are willing to have their targets subjugated or eliminated by their government by any means.

The White House and national Republicans literally don't care about polls. There's no effort to win back or convince lost voters. Hell, he won't even dangle quick money to key constituents to earn back their vote.

He's in. He'll use every lever available to keep it that way and mold this country to MAGA. Look at Hungary.

VOTERS. DON'T. MATTER. So why should polls?

Plus, I think its all Kabuki Theatre this polling. Traditional MSM and outlets making things look like its a level playing field for Dems and there's "trouble" ahead for Republicans. Drama and tension get eyeballs.

every single Democrat shouts out their obscenities like Gavin Newsom has been doing. But sadly, Newsom is pretty much on his own from what I see. Democracy is dead if they don’t pick things up and quick.

Hmmm, where have I seen similar numbers? Oh, that's what I thought, in virtually every other poll on Trump's popularity.
Trump's base hasn't been diminished.
What has changed is that the voters "in the middle", those who are generally ignorant of what is happening and apathetic unless it affects them are waking up, and they do not like what they see.
But these are the people who are used to sleepwalking through life as far as politics goes, or who have fallen for Republican propaganda.
Will they be mobilized in large enough numbers to overcome Republican gerrymandering and disenfranchisement? That is the question.
