The prosecutor has brought the death penalty for Robinson in Utah. I’m wondering if they take the death penalty off the table as long as Robinson says that he’s a left extremist? This will give the right their chance of starting a war against the left?

I imagine his only bargaining chip to avoid execution would be—as you point out—a willingness to say whatever prosecutors want him to say.

Whether Robinson is left, right, or a troll of some sort, I find the lack of discussion about mental health more than a bit disturbing. People with sound mental health don’t typically kill people they don’t even know.
