According to NBC news. His show is going to be pre-empted. This is because of the complaint from the FCC. Knew this would happen. Very sad day for ABC.
Ari is covering this (I am watching on a delay), so I am sure that it will be covered on MSNBC at the top of the hour. Well, I guess I was wrong about MSNBC. But Erin Burnett is leading with this story and is being very critical. Brian Stelter said this really does have a chilling effect across the country. One of the media analysts on CNN just said that the decision was so abrupt that there was probably an audience in the studio and the show was ready to be taped.
AND the hubby just reminded me that ABC is pre-empting Kimmel so he can't "let loose" like Colbert is still able to do.

(20,051 posts)For those who don't know this is due to his comments Monday night regarding the motive for Kirk's murder. The current FCC expressed displeasure and 2 days later he's gone.
