Suggesting that mentally ill homeless people that don't submit to treatment be "lethally injected" is perfectly fine and in no way offensive. (see Brian Kilmead....FOX news).

Kimmel's point was there was speculation the shooter could be a "right winger" and other speculation he could be a "left winger". Trump and MAGA didn't care which was the truth, they were going to paint the guy as a "left winger" regardless. If the guy was a "right winger", that would have been really inconvenient to Trump and MAGA so they spent all their energy over the weekend making sure that their followers heard repeatedly that he was a left winger and never heard about the possible right wing connections.

A person familiar with the situation told CNBC that Jimmy Kimmel is not fired. That person said that Disney plans to speak with him about what he should say when he goes back on the air.

No way Kimmel will agree to say whatever Disney orders him to say in order to come back. Will ABC have the guts to bring him back anyway? Almost certainly No.
