HGTV star Erin Napier stood her ground in a shocking debate with her Instagram followers over the assassination of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk.
“Only the demonized celebrate death,” the Mississippi-based designer, 40, pointedly wrote on an Instagram Story the day after Kirk was murdered in Utah, on Wednesday, September 10, per the Daily Mail.
Some followers attacked the Turning Point USA founder’s beliefs and expressed outrage.
“Really, Erin? You are homeschooling your precious children in LAUREL, MS (of all places) to prevent something like this from happening to them. This guy was ALL FOR IT. He died for what he believed in. God have mercy on his soul because I do not,” one user wrote, quoting Kirk’s words following the 2023 Nashville school shooting.
“I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights,” Kirk said at the time.
Erin’s response? “You know nothing about why I am homeschooling my children, you sick goblin.”
