America Urged To 'Wake Up' After Stephen Miller's 'Dystopian' Vow
Trump White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller triggered anger Monday with his chilling pledge to “use every resource” of the administration to “destroy” what he described as left-wing “terror” networks following the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
Miller made the vow during a posthumous episode of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” hosted by Vice President JD Vance.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) was among the first high-profile critics to respond. “Wake up, America,” the potential 2028 Democratic presidential hopeful warned on X, formerly Twitter. “This isn’t about crime and safety. It’s about dismantling our democratic institutions. We cannot allow acts of political violence to be weaponized and used to threaten tens of millions of Americans.”

Other commentators on social media called Miller’s rhetoric a “dystopian nightmare” and “hateful” and linked it to conservatives rushing to blame “the left” despite the shooter’s motives remaining unclear.
