Shutting down the War on Cancer ... cui bono ? Can it possibly be Turnip is doing this so Big Pharma and Big Biotech ...

... can wrap every new discovery about cancer causes & cures in patent protection ?

It sounds too horribly cynical to be true, but pharma and biotech have been big donors to Turnip. Even thought their relationship has been a little rocky, it still might be a quid pro quo (since I've already used Latin once, what's one more time). What do we know about Turnips interactions w/pharma and biotech "leaders" ?

No telling. There was a time when we would applaud forcing for-profits to pay more in research. Silent Type Sep 2025 #1

Much prefer an orderly plan from a trusted government, which we don’t have now, making sure nothing drops through cracks, but I bet drug companies do increase research significantly. Only way to keep making money is coming up with more stuff to sell.

That’s my feeling, but doubt it’s trump’s motive.
