Hillary Started It, Dump Used It
Everyone (including the media) bought into it!"Basket of Deplorables" is a pejorative phrase from a 2016 US presidential election campaign speech delivered by Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on September 9, 2016, at a campaign fundraising event.
Ever since then, Dump has been stoking the fire, fanning the flames of this overblown 'attack' of the 'Radical Left Lunatics' to the point even the mainstream media has to play along for fear he will retaliate.
I see this whole mess as Darn Old's full-page newspaper ads calling for the execution of The Central Park Five.
Huge distraction with again, no evidence, and no such thing.
