10. I'm getting my flu shot this afternoon.

I always got my flu shot at work (they had a nurse come to the office every year) but since I retired, I go to my doctor's office. It's close and I'm usually in and out in a few minutes.

At my wellness check in May, I asked about the COVID vaccine and they said they generally don't offer it until fall. It's not available yet. I may have to go to a drugstore if it isn't available soon.

A couple of years, I had to bring her a copy of the form signed by the nurse for my file!

had signs on their windows that said Covid shots currently require a prescription. Luckily for me, I'd already scheduled an appointment with my doctor for next Tuesday.

Personally, I think they should just make something up. Say “yeah I’m immunocompromised” The pharmacy just needs to cover their ass I guess

Like a lot of us he smoked for about ten minutes in his teens. But they took it. Of course we’re in WA where the goal is to vaccinate the whole West Coast.
