I have said it before and will so again: Every GOP Congresscritter and Senator is a traitor to their oaths of office. Every one of them. They honor Mr. Kirk because they share his views.

But the Democratic Senators, every one of them, voted along with the Fascists to declare a Charlie Kirk Day. All of them. I need a drink.

Even the devil can cite Scripture for his own purpose. You can find a bible verse to justify almost any misdeed or crime and republicans have that down to a science. Too many people tend to interpret the bible to serve their own bias.

The demon Screwtape, in his address to Tempter’s College, notes how many of those who call themselves religious leaders are actually doing work in the service for Satan. As Screwtape says:

"All said and done, my friends, it will be an ill day for us if what most humans mean by 'Religion' ever vanishes from the Earth. It can still send us the truly delicious sins. Nowhere do we tempt so successfully as on the very steps of the altar."

They began to climb when Trump became president, and continued up over 10K per year to a high of over 15K in 2022.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/249803/number-of-homicides-by-firearm-in-the-united-states/

This table only goes thru 2023. The CDC table below shows 2024, but doesn't go back as far as the statista data.

https://johnkroman.substack.com/p/new-cdc-data-shows-a-substantial

The differences in the data reflect the source of the information. CDC uses death certificates. Statista uses police and news reports. I think the CDC data would be more inclusive, but I wanted to show the longer term trend also.

I blame Trump for this. His hate filled rhetoric emboldened his base to more openly engage in hate and violence. Even during the term of President Biden, Trump's language set the tone for the continued high levels of hate in our nation.

So much for the few deaths comments by Charlie Kirk. That's a whole lot of deaths.

Hmmmmmm...I'm betting the college dropout did not have the brain capacity of a bunch of black women with degrees and even more who couldn't navigate the cost of college and life.

But clearly, he should "prove me wrong" with his SAT, ACT, LSAT, and bar exam scores in addition to his GPA.

For some reason I was offered a Top Fan designation. I don’t reply much at all so I have no idea why. Politics or governing on Facebook is useless. It’s just a bunch of old people stuck in their ways and often brainwashed BY Fox.

The latest one I saw was that Charlie fans are petitioning Starbucks to add his favorite to their menu - Mint Majesty Tea. These people are SOOOO over the edge entitled that they think everyone else is. It’s really odd.
