Can we all agree on a place for us to migrate to if that happens? Suddenly going dark would be torturous, as it was after the 2016 election.
I will check back for any and all ideas

I havent signed up for Blue Sky yet, but for other people doing some cross-posting and seeing how it goes might be a good idea, just in case there is an interruption in services at our real home.

(25,666 posts)Back in 2003, I set up some meetings with Oregon DUers and it might be time to try that again. Not only is it an excellent way to get to know your "neighbors" and organize resistance efforts, sharing libations with like-minded folk really takes the edge off -- gallows humor is best experienced among allies.

(1,829 posts)This is the type of worst-case scenario fear-mongering and click-baiting stuff that the very worst youtube "stars" and "pundits" engage in. I think the oh-my-god-we're-all-gonna-die-run-for-your-lives attitude that we see so often online is contagious and spreading. So, the "many" who are "saying" and asking questions are just trying to stir the pot. They can be safely ignored.
