came across a news story that talked to the last months of ratings for the Kimmel show and they were way down.

We know that's because he was off and had guest hosts sitting in for him.

However, nothing in this damming story of terrible summer ratings referenced he wasn't present during this ratings period.

It just went along with the forced narrative that he was failing as a late night host and it's good he's gone.
