That is such bullshit!

If I sat in the classroom, I would not have done anything. Not because it did not affect me, but because I would not be sure what it was about. Did the teacher catch her stealing tests? Maybe cheating? Or maybe something just as nefarious?

Maybe I would have spoken up if he told her to leave, she asks why and he replies, "No reason." But if I knew this teacher as reasonable then I would assume there was a reason why she was not supposed go be there.

Holding g all of them to account for not speaking up over a wrong you were not sure existed is short sighted and makes assumptions that may not be true.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
