Why cant CBS/ABC/Disney lawyer up and fight back?
Maybe these licenses should be revoked - not because of what they broadcast, but because they cower and wont fight back against a bullying regime that uses intimidation tactics and assaults the First Amendment.

(197,760 posts)Its about the affiliates. Nexstar owns 33 ABC affiliates and Sinclair (very conservative) owns 26 of the total ABC affiliates of 250-270. Affiliates carry a lot of weight.

(9,460 posts)Trump mop extorting corporations to do an end run around the First Amendment limits on POTUS. If he/his mob can strong arm corporations into limiting speech of their 'employees' Trump is a happy camper cuz it's not the state doing the silencing.
Now, if some of the threatened business would grow spines and stand up to being Trump's proxy, that would be refreshing.
