Bill Clinton was sued and forced to testify on video. Rs had no problem with that, SCOTUS allowed it.

CORRECTION: Bill Clinton was sued for actions taken before he was President, and outside of his official responsibilities. The law does allow that.

However, it seems to me that many of Anus Orange's actions have nothing to do with his official responsibilities, but are geared only to personal revenge. But that would be a much harder legal argument to make, since the relevance of each and every point would be hashed out over many years.
