"Weaponizing" the DOJ...
Paraphrasing, Karoline Leavitt, WH press spokesperson, said that the Trump DOJ was only weaponizing the DOJ against those that declared "lawfare" on Donald Trump during the last Administration. The only difference is that the Trump DOJ has to make up charges against his opponents. The charges against him were obvious to anyone that had their eyes open. That is a big difference.
When he was attempting to bribe another country's leader into creating lies and rumors about his opponent, Joe Biden, that was not legal. He did not have the right to withhold military assistance that the Congress had appropriated. That is not in his job description.
He did not have the right to incite a mob to attack our Capitol. He did not have the right to lie about who won the last election?
He did not have the right to steal top secret documents and move them to Mar-a-Lago. They asked him to turn them over and he refused. They had to get a search warrant to retrieve the documents.
It is apples and oranges with the regime claiming that they have a right to prosecute their opponents because of the way Donald Trump was treated.
He likes to say that the mainstream media reports on him negatively at a rate of 97%. That's about what Charles Manson would receive if he was still alive. When someone breaks the law, they are not guaranteed or warranted 50/50 press coverage or even any positive coverage at all.
The only "weaponization" of the DOJ is from the Trump regime. Just my two cents.
