Do the lies just not count anymore?

The corporate media has been doing a fairly good job of critiquing trump's UN speech, even using non-normalizing adjectives like "mocking" and "lecturing" and "boasting" to describe it. But what about lying? : To me, that's even more damning, because honesty is not just a matter of style.

The sad fact is that many Rs like his "style". And they don't know he's lying. It's up to the free press and te Dems to point it out.

I couldn't watch the speech in full. But I was able to last long enough to hear him lie about bringing grocery prices down, having sky high poll numbers, China not using wind energy, and there were probably many more. And to me at least, that still matters.

I have always believed that every time a Dem is asked about trump, they should preface their reaction with something like, "I don't know what to say about that, because he is always lying. Who knows if that's true?" Really drill it in. The fact that the POTUS can't be trusted is, or should be, everything.

I thought she came across very well. Not interested in looking back or pointing fingers, but it's too bad that she didn't feel a little less constrained during the election. She was direct on some occasions, and I feel she did a great job considering the circumstances. But with an opponent like trump you need to be extremely blunt and direct about everything all the time. Oh well, lessons were learned I hope.

But I am so glad I did! She is using the right vehicle to get back out there and she will take this monster down. I don't think she will be president, but I think she has the ability to laser focus on him and rip the fascist pig to shreds.

Your post made me think about something. With the passage of the Telecommunications Act it's bad enough with Magats buying up the vast majority of "news" outlets.

Just imagine if every news outlet gave the same narrative because if anyone says anything contrary to dear leader, he/she will be disposed of. Just imagine if the government agencies put out numbers that must agree with the wishes of dear leader, if it's happening for our health care there are no limits.

Friday, an inflation report is coming out and we know how Krasnov wants those interest rates lower, how Krasnov wants to weaken the dollar, wants cheap money. Krasnov fired the head of the BLS in August, wants to fire Jerome Powell, so now when this report comes out Friday, I'm sorry, I may be skeptical if it shows inflation in a positive light, even if the numbers are accurate, I can't say I won't be skeptical.

everything. Everything. That's why the normalizing of it is so dangerous. I don't care about his style or whether he offends people. I used to , but we're way past that now. Call out the lying.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of the American public isn't listening to the "corporate media", either on TV, on the radio, or in print.

Another big slice knows he's lying and finds it amusing because it owns the Libs.

We're in deep shit. The MSM couldn't save us if it wanted to.
