Agree 100%, but my point is...

The very act of taking action is stressful.

There is an opportunity cost to taking action.

Taking action attempts to get us "back to normal".

The opportunity cost of taking action to get us back to normal means that the time spent on taking action and fighting is just "getting us back to normal", without any real PROGRESSION as time passes.

And we've been trying for years to progress on a health care solution, without any success...because we are spending all of our time trying to fight an internal enemy in an attempt to just return to the previous status quo, without any improvement to where we were when all of this began.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
