Bethpage will vex some of the pros.

When the US Open was held there in 2002 and 2009, the players had trouble with the greens. Since it's a public course, most of the greens have modest contours but the putting was consistent in over-playing any breaks. The Internationals won't have the same prior experience as Team USA.

Plus, the home-court advantage and fans will help.

Just my thoughts having played the Black Course dozens of rounds.
