Trump was bragging about finding money on the "tariff shelf" this morning
More rambling nonsense per usual so I was barely listening. But he claimed that someone asked him where he was going to get the money and he said have you checked the tariff shelf? He is claiming that there is a shelf where all the money from the tariffs is kept and he can dip into it to solve problems.
If any other president suggested anything like this they would be bombarded with front page stories about their mental breakdown for weeks and their own party would have a "meeting" to discuss their options. This is not normal.
I won't insult your intelligence by going into all the reasons why this is insane. But the fact that our representatives, the free press, can not and WILL NOT pin him down on this tariff BS is embarrassing, pathetic and dangerous.
