1. This is so frustrating.

Basic meds like Synthroid are imported from New Zealand. I buy my rx from a Canadian pharmacy because I can get 90mdays worth for around $45. In the US the cheapest is Costco but it’s still $100 for 90 days without insurance and $150 with insurance. I’m so sick and tired of the game.

7. The generic version is practically free.

(I take it and liothyronine). You might want to ask your doctor to switch. It's $10/90 days through goodrx. You may need to go through a couple of extra visits until you get settled on the generic- but it's not over of those meds where brand name matters (outside of a transition period)

The ones I worry about are the ones for which there is no generic available.
