So I receive an amber alert last night for a young man who was kidnapped. Usually it's small children, but this boy was seventeen and white. Looks like Opi's cousin.

This morning the details claimed that he texted his mother to tell her he was shot and was taken in a white van by four hispanic males. This is not the usual details for an abduction. Usually it involves a parent and small children.

So, now I'm hearing there was no evidence of being abducted by hispanic males.

Now the Update:
Caden has been located safe in Williston. This investigation is still ongoing. More updates will be provided as they become available.

If it's another fraudulent, racist claim. I hope he spends time in jail.

Sounds like the initial reporting was BS. From our local paper:

The missing child alert sparked a flurry of speculation online in the overnight hours. A flood of unverified information across social media posts and websites shared across the state of Florida and nationally indicated that the teen was shot and abducted by four Hispanic men....

At noon on Friday, the Sheriff’s Office shared that there was no evidence to support an abduction, but that the teen’s disappearance still was being investigated in connection with a shooting.

“Primarily, at this time, there is no evidence to indicate that he was taken by four Hispanic men in a light-colored van,” said Zach Moore, public information officer with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at the time. “It is possible that he left the incident location on a black bicycle with a red and grey tent, which he purchased at Walmart on SW 19th Avenue Road, in Ocala.”

13. Here's an update from the sheriff. It's on Facebook, but non-users, like me, can view the video. The kid's

parents won't allow him to be questioned by LE and he shot himself, very minor injury, in the leg.

It sounds like they're downplaying the fact that he tried to pin it on FOUR HISPANICS. This is bordering on a hate crime because it doesn't take much to trigger people these days.
