just remarked "Do you realize how childish this blackout of Kimmel is?"

(10,438 posts)I'm sure most of us around here knew about Sinclair, but to the vast majority of Americans that are not nearly as politically informed, they would be watching the rightwing-biased crap that these stations pump out and not know that they were watching outright propaganda. That's why so many Americans have a completely warped view of what has been going on. They are only now waking up to it because the terribleness that we predicted with this administration is impacting their daily lives, and propaganda isn't nearly as powerful when you have real world experience that disputes it...
People should remember this the next time they are quick to blame Democrats for not being better messengers. The vast majority of outlets that Democrats have to rely on to get their message out have shown to be either (1) dominated by fascist friendly allies of Trump or (2) so afraid that the fascist's wrath will turn on them that their actions end up being no different than those in the first category.

(14,211 posts)That's Nexstar's flagship cable channel that tries to sell itself as a totally unbiased national news network but its had issues in the past with management imposing right-wing bias so Kimmel is just more of the same. It's too bad because NewsNation used to be a powerhouse cable network called WGN and they've sunk pretty far under bad management.

... understand the free market better than us socialist, Marxist, Communist, Democrats. 😂 Yet time and time again they forget to listen to the market. Isn't it ironic that Republican presidents create economic crashes, depressions, and financial meltdowns. Then Democratic presidents clean it up creating booming economies, millions of jobs, and make life better for the average American. Rinse. Repeat.
