Burnett, a thirteen-time Emmy Award winner, has a long personal relationship with Trump, with Trump reportedly once calling Burnett a “special special friend.” Burnett also produced Trump’s popular reality television series “The Apprentice,” which ran from 2004 to 2017, hundreds of tapes of outtakes of which still exist and are in the possession of Burnett, Bush claimed. ....

Whether any of the unseen tapes will ever come to light, remains unclear. Burnett has denied being a supporter of Trump’s presidency, declaring himself in 2016 “I am not pro-Trump,” and that he and his wife “reject the hatred, division and misogyny that has been a very unfortunate part of his campaign.”

However, despite Burnett’s past claims, he was tapped by Trump as the special envoy to the United Kingdom, suggesting that the two may very well have made amends, and further suggesting that the television producer may be hesitant to cave to demands to release his trove of Trump tapes, which likely include well over a decade of outtakes and behind the scenes footage shot on the set of The Apprentice.

1. This entire travesty of the Chump years can be laid on the shoulders of Mark Burnett.

There wouldn't have been a trump presidency if Burnett hadn't released the kraken of The Apprentice. He's earned his place in hell for all eternity.

3. Yip, it's a surprise to me in this news item that BURNETT said he wasn't pro-KRASNOV.

What little I assumed was that he was. Perhaps he and his wife, with their religious bent, might have come to disapprove of KRASNOV but they've made a mint and a cushy political appointment with him.

2. So, I guess Billy Bush has moved past all that and is returning back to one of the entertainment

shows (he has a podcast too). He admits to being very immature and sycophantic way back when--YUP--but I'd agree that despite Rick Wilson's admonition that #ETTD, it is good he might be the exception to Trump's taking down everyone and everything around him--at least permanently.
