So, Hegseth and Trump Are Going to Beard the Generals, Eh?

Well, there are plenty of possible scenarios with such a strange gathering. What might happen? I'm thinking about the characters of both Hegseth and Trump when I consider the possibilities.

Here's what just might turn out to happen, it seems to me:

Hegseth marches out into the room where the high brass is gathered. He's all worked up about it, because this is his chance to be a "real military man," loaded with visions of lethality and amplified masculinity. Now, he has them where he wants them and he's about to emerge and take his place as the hard-hitting military genius he thinks he is or should be.

He has them stripped naked, symbolically, as he emerges from behind the curtain, standing tall and erect. He marches over to the microphone and prepares to speak. He takes a deep breath, opens his mouth to begin his tirade....and then he stops. He glances downward and then says "OH SHIT! NOT AGAIN!" Then he disappears, slightly hunched over, back behind the curtain. He has nothing left. His manhood has left him suddenly, before it should have. He peaked before the time was right. Now, he's empty and useless - again....

It's all over before the fun begins. Trump, backstage, takes one look at what has happened and motions to his SS guards. "This is over," he says. Get me out of here!"

Especially it would not and also be announced as to date and time and place. The entire military leadership of the USA is going to be gathered together in one place at one time. Nobody would ever do that in the real world. Nobody with any sense. It's just too attractive a target and too rich a prize for an enemy. It doesn't take much imagination to understand why that is.

So, it's happening anyhow. Because neither Hegseth nor Trump have any real military background nor education. They don't understand why such a gathering is simply not done, and never announced in advance.

I don't know. I would be anywhere near where that is taking place, to be quite frank. I'm not an idiot.

You'd think he would try to make it look realist. Also, he didn't bother to wear eye protection. What an ass.
