(114,685 posts)EMS short form notifications for some reason (recent change to my alerts)... I was going to look into why I am now getting these, but I'm sure I may be on some list that crossed wires... ? Most are really minor, but my first thought was, well, am I supposed to do something about it?
At any rate, national notifications for every shooting event might be a bit too much...

If the media would produce a segment, in their news, a count of the mass shootings that day and the number of dead by gun.
That might be the only way to put the issue into the minds of the average person
