They are as acquiescent and as complicit as those of the Volksgerichtshof who rubber-stamped the cruel kind of “judgments” handed down by Freisler and his cronies. Freisler died in the Allied bombing of Berlin. Justice would have been better served had he gotten a taste of his own medicine (“Sie werden mit dem Tode bestraft!”—You will be punished by death!) from another judge at Nürnberg.
