Yuck! Jeffries should not be praising Eric Adams!
Adams was corrupt, and cut a notably corrupt deal this year with the corrupt Trump administration (over which honorable New York prosecutors resigned). But sure, the House Democratic leader--who, I dunno, might want to be opposed to the corruption of the Trump administration?--should praise him.
