All services to and from Canada are temporarily suspended due to national union strike action.This is on the Australia Post page, in case anyone is waiting for mail from Canada.
29 September 2025: Due to national union strike action commenced by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers on 25 September 2025 (Canada Eastern Time), Canada Post has advised all countries to temporarily stop sending items to Canada.

I’m getting a new knee in 4 weeks, another part of the thrills of old age. The right knee is really starting to affect my gait — as well as my foot and assorted muscles on that side. I’ll be glad to get it over with.
