I've felt for a while now that his handlers are carefully dolling out what information he is allowed to have to ensure that he does what they want.

Combine that with his obvious advanced senility, and I question if he really has any idea what is actually going on.

5. Trump is being told that he is very popular. He is being told studies show Tylenol causes autism.

He is being told tariffs are working very well. He is being told that America has earned the respect of the world. He is being told he is the greatest peacekeeper of our time. He believes it all. He hasn't got a clue what the truth is. He has no desire to read or research anything that might help him learn. He has no idea what is in the spending bill. He has made it clear before that he doesn't know healthcare is affected.

He is surrounded by sociopaths who tell him what they think he wants to hear, instead of telling him the truth, and that includes a lot of flattery. They know they will get fired if they even hint that anything is going badly. Everything he is told is to please him and reaffirm his beliefs. Some lie to manipulate him. Putin lied to him about his admiration (for Trump) and about Ukraine. Trump believed it. I expect Stephen Miller told him the immigrants were eating the cats and dogs. He told him America is hot now and was dead last year. Trump believes it, and he repeats it.

We have an imbecile for a president.
