Jeffries: "a decision has been made by House Republican leaders . . . to shut the govt down:

Jeffries: "It appears, at least to me, that a decision has been made by House Republican leaders, perhaps blessed by the administration, to shut the govt down. Why did they they cancel votes? Why are they on vacation spread out across the country & world when we're on the brink of a govt shutdown?"

they can give the Dems anything they want and drumpf can just impound and/or ignore whatever appropriates come from congress he doesn't like since congress no longer "controls the purse strings" (and SCOTUS will back him up). I would think the gop would rather keep the government open funding all their terrorist projects then shut it down.......
