Fox falsely claims 'thousands' of fans wore Charlie Kirk tribute t-shirt at Penn State game

Fox falsely claims ‘thousands’ of fans wore Charlie Kirk tribute t-shirt at Penn State game — by using a clip that shows only conservative Benny and his friends wear one. It was one of Penn State’s “White Out” games. During these games, Penn State fans dress to make the stadium almost entirely white

Even if one of every 20 wore some Kirk shirt (totally believable in State College, PA), that would still be thousands.

I mean, they didn't prove it, but neither did you debunk it.

I was there, I didn't see more than five or so Kirk related things.

Yes most of the people there were Rs, but White Out is pretty sacred PSU stuff and by and large PSU fans are down to earth enough to not want to draw attention to themselves in that kind of way.

As an aside - State College is a VERY democratic town.

The county clerks office doesn't identify Penn State students specifically, however, the margin in 2024 of mail-in ballots in the county, where half the population is likely Penn State students, was almost 2 to 1 Dem to Rep.

Everyone knows what a Charlie Kirk shirt means. They aren’t dumb. 5000 free shirts were handed out. I’m sure 5000 shirts were worn at the game. Who cares.

They might have accepted the freedom shirt but most didn’t change. What bothered me was the line to get the free shirt, all ages, with Benny Johnson running around recording it. Ugh. The tailgaters threw them in their cars and wore their Penn State white.
