(38,824 posts)But I agree.
That blatant misuse of government websites to send a "truth" Social worthy message is more frightening than many of the other things he has done - partly because I am struggling to figure out who can stop it, and how. Justice is moving at a much slower pace than I would like, because all of the other firewalls have failed and the courts are not a tool built for speed. But I'm not even seeing a toehold for the courts to intervene here.

(81,549 posts)The Radical Left are going to shut down the government and inflict massive pain on the American people unless they get their $1.5 trillion wish list of demands. The Trump administration wants to keep the government open for the American people.

(4,612 posts)Sure they'll unsuccessfully try to blame the Dems, but at least they'll delay the release of the Epstein files a bit longer.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
