A C-32A just took off from JB Andrews. It is headed southwest.
Vance? Nope. It doesn't have a callsign, which would be AF2 if Vance were on board.

(70,468 posts)C-32A is the government designation for a Boeing 757. It's a passenger plane, not a cargo plane.
This is a long way out for a training flight, so I don't think it's that. It's about to land in Greensboro NC.
And good morning.

I'm sure the plane spotters in Greensboro are having fun with this. I wonder if Piedmont Triad ATC is on Broadcastify.

(6,507 posts)Smaller plane just landed, 757 on approach.
Wrong. 757 now combing through 10000, seemingly leaving. ??!

(70,468 posts)The "small plane accompanying the C-32A" seemed to be a hallucination. The small plane was a doppelgänger of the C-32A. It did not have a separate existence. I've seen that before, also the weird zigzagging at low altitudes.
So it looks as if we're headed back home.

(6,507 posts)Small plane appeared to be 20-30 minutes behind 757. Could be some kind of "ghost", real or generated.
While this was going on, a P-8 was camped over Harrisburg. Could be almost anything going on. I'm always curious when certain kinds of planes are on the move.
