Our local RX place just abruptly closed, no notice, nothing.

This business was started in the 80's by a former long term Druggist and was passed on to a couple of owners. They transferred all customers to a local Walgreens. What what I understand they never said anything to the staff either. It was a small store front but busy place. Is this a sign of the times? At one time we had multiple places a competing with each other including a couple in the supermarkets. Walgreen bought RiteAid up the street and closed it. Funny thing the Walgreen building is listed.

1. Sometimes things are happening behind the scenes

The owner could be ill and it just reached a point where no more was possible. So the backup plan activates.

Because the piece of shit delivered the final blow to these people.
