If residential gas distribution was something invented in the twenty first century people would never accept it. But we've learned to dismiss the dangers.

Yet the greater danger today is global warming. There's enough gas in the ground to destroy whatever is left of the natural world as we've known it.

If we don't quit burning fossil fuels, including gas, our world civilization will collapse and literally billions of people will suffer and die because of this.
