Practical liberalism is what we need

Remember that the average person out there has been so dumbed down that many of them do not have the critical thinking skills to understand what "logical liberalism" means.

A younger version of Tim Walz is what we need. I love Bernie Sanders to death and agree with every word - but we have to understand that yelling "oligarchy" over and over goes over the head of the average American. We have to learn to work with what we have not what we WISH we had in the electorate.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
