Now that they are coming to this realization, this is the time to hit them hard with,
"Look, the Republicans have been lying about this dispute all along. There is no way we can trust them to do ANYTHING in good faith. This is not complicated. All they have to do is rescind all the Draconian cuts they rammed through without a single Dem vote earlier this year. We will work with them day and night to get this done. It really isn't that hard. We can have a bill drafted, ready for a vote in 2 days. But we will not do ANYTHING on the basis of trust because Trump, Vance, and Johnson have not been acting in a way that deserves any trust.."
