**Postal rates for holiday packages goes way up on October 5** Get any big packages out by Saturday AM
(if you can)... I am annoyed as hell, but busily getting two fairly heavy items I'd planned to send in late Oct/early November out now because USPS announced this early holiday period would begin October 5 with major increases thereafter.
Sure takes the surprise out of sending packages (and is sending us all to Amazon, it would appear). Sigh...
