Lawrence: We are clearly seeing madness pouring from the darkness of Donald Trump's mind

&t=5s

'MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell explains how Donald Trump’s posting racist fake videos while refusing to negotiate with Democrats to end the shutdown reveals how Trump’s “madness … has reached new extremes that we haven't seen before even from Donald Trump.”'

My words: Lawrence excoriates the NYT and The Person Living In the WhiteHouse.

called for Bill Clinton to resign.

USA Today
The Chicago Tribune
The Philadelphia Inquirer
The San Jose Mercury News
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Hartford Courant

But very few have called for Trump to go.

Article from CNN in May of 2020

Only these are listed for Trump and to my knowledge none of the above have done so.

he Wall Street Journal (January 2021): Following the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, the conservative editorial board called on Trump to resign immediately. They stated that his conduct "crossed a constitutional line" and that his departure would prevent a second impeachment.
The Connecticut Post (September 2019): The largest newspaper chain in Connecticut published an editorial demanding Trump's resignation over his communications with Ukraine, which led to his first impeachment.
The Portland Press Herald (June 2020): During a presidential visit to Maine, the editorial board released a piece calling for Trump's resignation due to his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, record unemployment, and racial justice protests.
The Gazette (Cedar Rapids, Iowa, January 2021): After the Capitol attack, this paper's editorial board called for Trump to resign, citing his inability to lead and his role in inciting the violence.
