a question for people who have worked with gov't classified documents (esp FBI documents)...

...if there are any of you here.

are the epstein files safe under a trump administration where he has kash patel and dan bongino running the FBI? what protections, if any, are in place to ensure classified documents, audio, video and and other evidence aren't stolen, destroyed or altered?

But you can predict present behavior by past behavior Period.

Those documents, if they have not been destroyed will be destroyed. This is what Trump has done in the past. This is what he will do now and this is what he will do in the future. All of this to save his fucking orange bloated pus that he causes a penis thank you

...my question pertains to safety guards in place to make sure a rogue president or AG CAN'T do that. when we see redacted documents, those are not originals....so maybe when documents are released to the president (or whomever), they get copies, not originals. i don't know.

if there is any possibility that trump can destroy or alter evidence, i'm hoping that the biden admin was smart enough to make copies of everything and ensure they are in a safe place, just in case.

They are not "classified" in the sense of National Security documents. They are, however, evidence and supposedly have to follow evidentiary rules for the FBI/DOJ. I'm not familiar with those, but I'm sure it involves some chain of custody.

Say when the Dens retake the House in 2026 and can hold real hearings and investigate what GOP/Trump have been stonewalling, destroying or burying.
