In Kansas we pay attention to the weather

That is our hobby. When I was young the tornado sirens were always going off. We had a volunteer fire department, so the sirens were different. Now, well no. It has been so quiet for quite a few years. Yes, climate change and they know it. At least someone my age, 70:years of age

southern at least, even a some drizzle would be reported.

I woke up this morning and it had rained fairly well to my surprise.

Following Jimmy Buffetts advise my coffee inside is cooling.

I’m on the back deck having a smoke …I know I know.

Born in Ohio - Xenia - I spent 1/2 a month in the basement, Mom and brother laying flat on a mattress with a mattress on top of us. Seemed like every night. That was in Yellow Springs.
