2. You see it & postimage paying members see it, but nobody else. postimage throttles after a small number of views

You see it because you have it in your browser cache. If you are not paying premium, clear your cache and the image will go away when you refresh the page.

There are much better services like imgur. Please repost from one of them.

4. OK. I checked out Dropbox and Imgur but it seems a subscription in needed.

I'm not going to spend $10 a month to post silly memes on the internet.

5. You need to add ".jpeg" to your link, or right-click to Copy Image Link to get a proper link

Also, these are properly called "graphic memes", or commonly called "memes". They are not cartoons, which are drawings. Photos with text overlaid are not "cartoons".
